About Dr. Hicks

Dr Bryan Hicks is a Certified Specialist in Orthodontics who was born in raised in West Vancouver, BC. After completing an undergraduate degree in 1991 at the University of Victoria, Dr Hicks graduated from Northwestern University in 1996 with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. In 1998 he attained his Orthodontic Specialty degree from the University of Washington while also obtaining a Master’s in Science. He then joined his father’s well-respected practice in West Van’s vibrant Ambleside Village, and went on to take over the Hicks family business.

Dr Hicks is also an esteemed professor at the University of British Columbia, where he lectures on modern orthodontic advancements and techniques to dental students. He is past president of the British Columbia Society of Orthodontists and continues to be a member. A board member representing BC for the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists (PCSO) for four years, Dr Hicks continues to be a delegate to the American Association of Orthodontists representing PCSO. Dr Hicks was honoured to be invited to join the prestigious Edward H Angle Society, dedicated to excellence in orthodontics, and has been a full member since 2011.
