To our valued patients: Dr Hicks and his team sincerely hope that you and your families are staying safe and healthy during these unprecedented times. We want to advise you that all of us have remained healthy. The office is currently closed. We will reopening as soon as possible as instructed by our Dental College. As of today all appointments have been cancelled until May 19, 2020. As you may already be aware, all dental care professionals in the province have been advised by the Provincial Health Authority and by the College of Dental Surgeons of BC to limit the scope of our practices to ’emergency’ care only.This means that we have been advised to cancel (until further notice), all routine and non-essential orthodontic appointments, including but not limited to, wire changes, new treatment starts, debanding appointments, recalls for retainer checks and observation appointments, diagnostic records including initial and final records appointments, new patient exams and consultations. Our reception staff are making every effort to contact each patient/parent personally to cancel any upcoming appointments and to address your concerns. Our staff will be contacting you again once we have been advised that we are able to resume regular services.
